Safeplay Surfacing ltd we have a dedicated team who can undertake any groundwork jobs you may have. Our team are highly skilled and experienced, ensuring we provide you with the best customer service possible. We have all the equipment and vehicles necessary to take on a wide range of jobs in all areas of groundwork's.

Wet Pour surfacing cannot be laid directly onto grass or earth areas, and so the groundwork's element forms a crucial key.

Once the area has been excavated using a ‘Mini Digger’ the ‘spoil’ is disposed of in skips through the use of a ‘dumper truck’. The next stage involves moving the MOT stone into the area and then spreading and levelling it. Finally the Stone is compacted using a ‘wacker’ machine and a retaining edge (wood or Pre-cast concrete) permanently fixed around the perimeter. After this stage is complete any play equipment forming part of the project will have to be fixed into place.
