HIGH QUALITY SURFACES
EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) rubber is synthetically produced and very strong making it ideal for external use. It is produced Virgin and Recycled. We use only the higher quality Virgin rubber.
Its principal components consist of the compounds ethylene and propylene. A flexible rubber matrix forms when a small amount of diene is added to the mix. It is manufactured in sheets and then cut into granules of varying sizes. We use the industry standard recommendation 1-4mm.
At Wet Pour Surfaces we install always to a 20 mm EPDM depth for our top course layer. This applies all the way through very much in line with what our customers expect and want giving a strong and long lasting finish. |

The MDI polyurethane resin used in our installation process is specially formulated for binding applications and has excellent adhesion to tyre rubber crumb giving maximum elongation and tensile strength to form a well bonded matrix with consistent properties throughout. |
